AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23:5-14e, PARKING BY PERMIT ONLY IN DESIGNATED RESIDENTIAL AREAS, OF TITLE 23, TRAFFIC AND PARKING, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2000, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY REVISING EXISITING PERMIT PARKING HOURS ON NORTHSIDE OF BLEEKER STREET, BETWEEN DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. BOULEVARD AND UNIVERSITY AVENUE, EXTENDING APPROXIMATELY 165 FEET WEST FROM INTERSECTION OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE. (CENTRAL WARD)

WHEREAS, The Newark Parking Authority has submitted a request to the City of Newark requesting to revise the Permit Parking on Northside of Bleeker Street, between Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and University Avenue, extending approximately 165 feet west from intersection of University Avenue, from 24hrs./Day to 6:00 p.m. through 6:00am/Days, Monday-Sunday, in the Central Ward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. That Section 23:5-14e, Parking by Permit Only in Designated Residential Areas, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, be amended and supplemented by deleting the following:
Northside of Bleeker Street, between Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and University Avenue, approximately 165 feet west from intersection of University Avenue

Section 2. That Section 23:5-14e, Parking by Permit Only in Designated Residential Areas, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, be amended and supplemented by adding thereto the following:
Northside of Bleeker Street, between Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and University Avenue, approximately 165 feet west from intersection of University Avenue
