WHEREAS, on October 24, 2017 the City of Newark, through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide Environmentally Hardened Cellular Modem with Separate Antenna, to the Division of Traffic and Signals, as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Environmentally Hardened Cellular Modem with Separate Antenna will allow for communication between the City Newark's Traffic Signals and its Central Traffic Control System; and
WHEREAS, the Environmentally Hardened Cellular Modem with Separate Antenna will expand Newark's Traffic System to monitor and adjust traffic conditions in real time; and
