WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and Economic Opportunity granted the City of Newark the following Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant (formerly Workforce Investment Act), through the Newark Workforce Development Board (NWDB), for Program Year 2018 (July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019); and
WHEREAS, the Program Year 2018 funds must be 80 percent obligated by June 30, 2019 and it must be fully expended by no later than June 30, 2020; and
WHEREAS, funds will be allocated as follows:
