WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-d (AS) July 11, 2018, authorized the Director of the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities to execute a contract with Kleinfelder, Inc., 321 Wall Street, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, to provide professional engineering services for a full-time New Jersey State Licensed T-4, W-4 operator and utility management support personnel for the contract amount of $130,095.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark is in need of additional professional engineering services of a Full-Time Licensed Operator as it fulfills mandated federal and state Safe Drinking Water Act regulatory compliance and to assist in the implementation of process, operation and maintenance improvements as defined in the City's Comprehensive Technical Assistance (CTA) report; and
WHEREAS, Jerry Notte through Kleinfelder, Inc., has been providing those services satisfactorily to the City; and
