WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the 17th Annual Kids' Day Event at Independence Park at Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 9:00 A.M. and Breakdown ending at 6:00 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its' support for this wholesome event, by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Independence Park at Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for the 17th Annual Kids' Day Event, on Sunday, September 30, from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
