WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council supports the Department of Public Safety's use of the Newark Housing Authority's property located at Mildred E. Terrell Homes, 35 Riverview Court, Newark, New Jersey 07105 to host a Community Forum on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Housing Authority requires the City of Newark to submit a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement in favor of the Newark Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark's Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Mildred E. Terrell Homes, 35 Riverview Court, Newark, New Jersey 07105 to host a Community Forum on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.
2. The Newark Municipal Council further supports the issuance of a related Certificate of Self-Insurance by the City of Newark's Insurance Fund Commission in the form attached hereto.
3. The Director of the Department of Public Safety shall forward the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, and the Certificate of Self-Insurance to the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, Ne...
