WHEREAS, Wanda Bryant was authorized by Coldwell Bankers to act on their behalf for the sale of residential property located at 45 St. Paul Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, also known as Block 4176, Lot 27, West Ward; and
WHEREAS, on March 21, 2017, Wanda Bryant submitted an online application to the City of Newark, Department of Engineering, Division of Inspections and Enforcement, for an inspection for a Certificate of Code Compliance in furtherance of the sale of the above residential property and paid the City Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00), Certificate of Code Compliance Account No. 9905; and
WHEREAS, Wanda Bryant, decided not to move forward with the sale and informed the City to cancel her inspection request for a Code Compliance. As a result, the City wishes to issue her a refund of her application fee in the amount Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00), by way of prior year revenue reimbursement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue a refund check to Wanda Bryant, 2 Hilltop Place, Montclair, New Jersey 07042, on behalf of Coldwell Bankers, in the amount of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00), for the Certificate of Code Compliance inspection application fee, as a result of a cancelled sale of property located at 45 St. Paul Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, by way of prior year revenue reimbursement.
2. Attached hereto is a Certification of Funds issued by the Director of Finance of the City of Newark, which states that there are available sufficient, legally appropriated funds of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00), for the purpose set forth herein above and which states that the line appropriation of the office budget which shall be charged is:

3. The original resolution shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk by the Director of Engineering.

This Resolution authorizes the Director of Finance of the City of Newark, to issue a refund check in the amount of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($250.00), to Wanda Bryant, 2 Hilltop Place Montclair, New Jersey 07042, on behalf of Coldwell Bankers for the refund of the fee paid for an inspection for Certificate of Code Compliance, as a result of a cancelled sale of property located at 45 St. Paul Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, by way of prior year revenue reimbursement.
