NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2019 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 1 New Year’s Day
January 21 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday (Observed)
February 12 Lincoln’s Birthday
February 18 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
April 19 Good Friday
May 27 Memorial Day
July 4 Independence Day
September 2 Labor Day
October 14 Columbus Day
November 5 Election Day
November 11 Veteran’s Day
November 28-29 Thanksgiving
December 25 Christmas Day
