WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration at Essex County College, Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (includes set-up time at 8:00 A.M. and breakdown ending at 9:00 P.M.; rain date: Friday, January 11, 2019); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its’ support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Essex County College, Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (includes set-up time at 8:00 A.M. and breakdown ending at 9:00 P.M.; rain date: Friday, January 11, 2019).
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby supports the issuance by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the Essex County College, Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
