WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Community Meeting with PSE&G at Ridge Street School, 732 Ridge Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Monday, March 11, 2019, from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 5:00 P.M. and Breakdown ending at 7:40 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ridge Street School, 732 Ridge Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for a Community Meeting with PSE&G, on Monday, March 11, 2019, from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 5:00 P.M. and Breakdown ending at 7:40 P.M.)
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ridge Street School, 732 Ridge Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Monday, March 11, 2019, from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 5:00 P.M. and Breakdown ending at 7:40 P.M.), for a Community Meeting with PSE&G, sponsored by Councilman Anibal Ramos, Jr.
