WHEREAS, on February 19, 2019, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Agent, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide traffic signal bases for the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, as per bid proposal package attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also distributed four (4) bid proposal packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on March 7, 2019, one (1) bid was received in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, recommended that an award be made to Signal Control Products Inc., the only responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent, QPA, concurred with the recommendations from the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, that an award be made to Signal Control Products, Inc., the only responsive and responsible bid...
