WHEREAS, the Municipal Council established and adopted the 2020 Annual Municipal Calendar of Pre-Meetings, Special Conferences and Regular Meeting Dates as 7R8-a adopted on December 4, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council wishes to cancel the Tuesday, April 14, 2020 Pre-Meeting and amend the date and time of the Wednesday, April 15, 2020 Regular Meeting to Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 12:30 P.M. and cancel the Tuesday April 21, 2020 Special/Conference Meeting to accommodate pertinent City business, as a result of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City Clerk is authorized to forward any changes made to the established 2020 Annual Municipal Calendar of Pre-Meetings, Special Conferences and Regular Meeting Dates, Resolution 7R8-a adopted on December 4, 2019 to the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal, together with posting in the public place of City Hall.
2. The Municipal Council supports cancelling the Tuesday, April 14, 2020 Pre-Meeting and amending the date and time of the Wednesday, April 15, 2020 Regular Meeting to Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 12:30 P.M.
3. The Municipal Council supports cancelling the Tuesday, April 21, 2020 Special/Conference Meeting
