WHEREAS, the City of Newark, Department of Administration (the "City") wishes to acquire a vendor to provide a community based violence initiative to enact a strategic initiative that provides rehabilitation services for young victims of violence through a relationship-based framework; and
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2020, the City through its Purchasing Agent, QPA, advertised to solicit proposals for vendors to provide a Community Based Violence Initiative for the Department of Administration, as described in the attached Request for Proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also distributed twenty (20) Request for Proposal (RFP) packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also published the Request for Proposal (RFP) package on the City of Newark's website to provide broader access and download capability to potential respondents; and
