The goals and objectives of the program include:
1. Educate residents about free, certified housing counseling and legal services and facilitate their participation in these services;
2. Increase knowledge and awareness of abusive lending practices and financial scams;
3. Increase the knowledge of tenant's rights
4. Connect residents to programs that can assist with foreclosure prevention, or where necessary, with emergency relocation
5. Improve resident ability to locate and maintain stable, affordable housing
