WHEREAS, the City of Newark (the "City") requires professional engineering services for Electrical System Assessment/Evaluation at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant Facilities and a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was issued on December 6, 2019; and
WHEREAS, four (4) proposals were received by the City on December 27, 2019 pursuant to the RFQ, and a Qualification Statement received from HDR Engineering, Inc., One Riverfront Plaza, 14th Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for this work for the amount not to exceed $171,296.00, was found to be in the best interest of the City to accept; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc., One Riverfront Plaza, 14th Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102, to provide engineering services for Electrical System Assessment/Evaluation at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant Facilities, in an amount not to exceed $171,296.00; and
