WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety, Division of Police (Third Precinct) is desirous of holding a Community Engagement Event at Holy Trinity Church, 207 Adams Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 11:30 A.M. and Breakdown ending at 4:30 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Holy Trinity Church, 207 Adams Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Holy Trinity Church, 207 Adams Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Holy Trinity Church (parking lot), 207 Adams Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for a Community Engagement Event with the Third Precinct, on Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 11:30 A.M. and Breakdown ending at 4:30 P.M.)
