WHEREAS, on January 28, 2020, the Municipal Council, adopted Resolution 7R9-a(S/AS), authorizing the Department of Public Safety, Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security ("OEM") to enter into and execute a contract with University Hospital ("UH") to provide CPR and Bleeding Control Training and equipment commencing on the date the contract is fully executed through August 31, 2020, for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($150,000.00); and
WHEREAS, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of New Jersey, Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, Urban Areas Security Initiative Grant Funds FY'17 has granted approval for changes to the terms of the contract service and extension thereof of the contract period (see approval hereto attached); and
