WHEREAS, on November 2, 2021, the City of Newark, Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals (the "City"), advertised for receipt of bids, for Contract #2021-06, Pavement Markings in the City of Newark, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, on November 16, 2021, the Department of Engineering received three (3) bids for Contract #2021-06, Pavement Markings in the City of Newark, New Jersey, in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.; and
WHEREAS, based on a review of the bids, the Director of the Department of Engineering, desires to award Contract #2021-06, Pavement Markings in the City of Newark, New Jersey, to the lowest bidder, Denville Line Painting, Incorporated, 2 Green Pond Road, Rockaway, New Jersey 07866, for the total bid amount of Two Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($267,575.00).
