The NWDB is gifting both 2022 Ford Ecosport transportation vehicles to the City of Newark. The NWDB fully understands and agrees that they are not entitled to receive any direct benefit from the City of Newark in exchange for its gift/donation.
No municipal funds will be expended for acceptance of this gift.

WHEREAS, the Newark Workforce Development Board (hereinafter "NWDB"), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; and
WHEREAS, the NWDB's mission is to lead and empower the City of Newark's workforce system by leveraging assets and resources to ensure the educational, professional and economic success of Newark residents, and the prosperity of businesses in our community; and
WHEREAS, the NWDB, under the direction of Mayor Ras J. Baraka's Office of Workforce Development, is responsible for strategic policy and oversight of the City of Newark's workforce development; and
