WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting an Easter Egg Hunt at Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 (Rain Date, Saturday, April 1, 2023), from 9:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for an Easter Egg Hunt, to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 (Rain Date, Saturday, April 1, 2023), from 9:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
2. The Acting City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ironbound Stadium, 26 Saint Charles Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for an Easter Egg Hunt to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 (Rain Date, Saturday, April 1, 2023), from 9:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., sponsored by Council Member Michael J. Silva.
