WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R5-d adopted on September 5, 2024, the City of Newark's ("City") Department of Health and Community Wellness applied for and accepted grant funds from the State of New Jersey Department of Health ("NJDOH"), P.O. Box 369, Trenton, New Jersey 08625, in the amount of Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($388,000.00) to increase immunization coverage levels for children and adults through the Immunization Action Plan/Project Vaccinate Program in the City; and
WHEREAS, on or about October 3, 2024, NJDOH notified the Department of Health and Community Wellness that additional funds in the amount of Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($215,627.00) has been made available, increasing the award amount to Six Hundred Three Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($603,627.00) (a copy of NJDOH Notice of Grant Award is attached hereto and m...
