NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2025 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 1 New Year’s Day
January 20 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday (Observed)
February 12 Lincoln’s Birthday
February 17 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
April 18 Good Friday
May 26 Memorial Day
June 19 Juneteenth
July 4 Independence Day
September 1 Labor Day
October 13 Columbus Day
November 4 Election Day
November 11 Veterans Day
November 27-28 Thanksgiving
December 25 Christmas Day
