WHEREAS, this grant funded by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) was intended for the Newark Public Schools and was erroneously awarded to the City of Newark;
WHEREAS, the DCA wishes to terminate the grant agreement with the City of Newark and award the funds to the Newark Public Schools;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to rescind Resolution 7R1-h adopted on January 8, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Resolution 7R1-h adopted on January 8, 2025, be and it is hereby rescinded.

The purpose of this resolution is to rescind Resolution 7R1-h adopted on January 8, 2025.
