WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-a on December 29, 2020 establishing the Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for 2021 (January through June); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-d on January 21, 2021 amending the Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for 2021 (January through June); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-d(S) on June 22, 2021 establishing the Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for 2021 (July through December); and
WHEREAS, the Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 and the month of September are amended and established as Virtual Meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to forward to the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal, together with posting in the public place of City Hall, a list of the pre-meetings, regular meetings and special/conference meetings of the Newark Municipal Council for the Calendar Year 2021, together with dates, times and place of said meetings and conferences.
Section 2. The Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 and the month of September are hereby amended and established as Virtual Meetings.
Section 3. Meeting Schedule for September 2021
Pre-Meeting Conference Regular Meeting Special Meeting/Conference
August 31, 2021 September 1, 2021
September 14, 2021 September 15, 2021 September 21, 2021
Section 4. If changes are made within the proposed schedule, the City Clerk is hereby authorized to post and circulate said changes in the same manner as disseminated in Section 1.
STATEMENT
This resolution amends and establishes the Tuesday, August 31, 2021, and the month of September 2021 schedule for all public meetings of the Newark Municipal Council as Virtual Meetings.
