WHEREAS, Ronnie Eugene Kellam, 134 North 13th Street, 1st Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07107, was appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-a adopted at the March 2, 2016, Regular Municipal Council Meeting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Ronnie Eugene Kellam, of 134 North 13th Street, 1st Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07107, must provide a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council wishes to amend the date of appointment, in part due to the overdue receipt of the Bond and approve the form, amount and sufficiency of the Constable Bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
