WHEREAS, on September 8, 2016 through Resolution 7R4-D, the Newark Municipal Council authorized the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Engineering to accept the bid proposal submitted by the lowest responsible bidder, Statewide Striping Corporation, 499 Pomeroy Road, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054 and execute Contract No. 02-2016, Installation of Pavement Markings on Various Streets in the City of Newark, for a total bid amount of $150,225.00; and
WHEREAS, the City's public bid contained a contract term of 180 consecutive calendar days from the issuance of a written Notice to Proceed by the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of Resolution 7R4-D adopted September 8, 2016, mistakenly contained a typographical error in the term of Contract No. 02-2016, which authorized the contract to be completed within a period of 365 consecutive calendar days from the issue of a "Notice to Proceed...
