WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-b 040208 authorized the award of Contract 13-WS2006 Improvements to Downstream Infrastructure of the Vanderpool Street Drainage to National Water Main Cleaning Company, 875 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, in the amount of $766,210.75, in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., funded by United States Environmental Protection Agency Federal Grant NumberXP992291-01; and
WHEREAS, Contract 13-WS2006 was completed with a total of $62,313.30 to be reduced for unused amounts provided for by the contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water & Sewer Utilities wishes to execute a final quantities Change Order No.1 to Contract 13-WS2006 Improvements to Downstream Infrastructure of the Vanderpool Street Drainage with National Water Main Cleaning Company, 875 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, reducing the contract by $62,313.30, bringing the final contract amount to $703,897.45.
