WHEREAS, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA), One Newark Center, 17th Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102 and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), provide grant funds for various transportation related projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark, at its option, is desirous of performing the work for the FY2013 Sub-Regional Transportation Planning Program for the City of Newark, in accordance with a certain work program application submitted to NJTPA/NJIT; and
WHEREAS, NJTPA/NJIT notified the City of Newark, in a letter dated June 19, 2012 that it was authorized to proceed with the work program with an approved budget of $86,177.50 (which includes Federal Funding of $68,942.00 + Local In-Kind Match of $17,235.50) to be ...
