WHEREAS, without any application required by the City of Newark, the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development granted the City of Newark $133,000.00 in Workforce Learning Link funds, through the Newark Workforce Investment Board (WIB), for State Fiscal Year 2013 (July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013); and
WHEREAS, this is an annual grant allocation from the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, and must be used in accordance to guidelines articulated in the Notice of Obligation, consistent with the Newark WIB’s strategic direction, and must be incorporated into the Newark Workforce Development Area Agreement for Program Year 2012; and
WHEREAS, these grant funds must be obligated by June 30, 2013, and fully liquidated by December 31, 2013; and
