WHEREAS, City of Newark owns and operates a Rock Salt storage and dispensing facility for its own needs; and
WHEREAS, Newark Public School District is desirous of making use of the Rock Salt storage and dispensing facility owned by City of Newark located at 62 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.15 authorizes contracting units to establish a Commodity Resale System, subject to an initial registration with, and approval by, the Director of the Division of Local Government Services in the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (“Director”); and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark, located in the County of Essex, State of New Jersey, is desirous of establishing a Commodity Resale System for the resale of Sodium Chloride (Rock Salt-Bulk); and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark has agreed to serve as the Lead Agency for a Commodity Resale System with Newark Public Schools; and
