WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R1-F, adopted on October 5, 2011, the Municipal Council of the City of Newark authorized the Mayor and the Business Administrator to enter into an agreement to receive and expend Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of $7,835,598.00; and
WHEREAS, after competitive contracting and fair open processes, and pursuant to Resolution 7R1-K, adopted August 1, 2012, the Mayor and/or his designee, the Business Administrator, were authorized to enter into an agreement with Jewish Renaissance Medical Center, Inc., 275 Hobart Street, Perth Amboy, New Jersey 08861 (hereinafter the “Sub-recipient”), awarding the sub-recipient a CDBG grant from CDBG funds in an amount not to exceed $20,500.00, to be used by the sub-recipient to p...
