WHEREAS, the Department of Child and Family Well-Being provides childhood lead poisoning prevention services for children six (6) months through six ( 6) years of age under the Childhood Lead Poison Prevention Program; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has made grant funds available for the provision of such services through the Childhood Lead Poison Prevention Program; and
WHEREAS, On June 5, 2013, on behalf of the City of Newark, the Director of the Department Child and Family Well-Being submitted an application to the State of New Jersey, Department of Health and Senior Services, P. O.
