WHEREAS, on January 19, 2012, by Resolution 7R1-m 011912, the Newark Municipal Council authorized the Mayor and/or his designee, the Purchasing Director to enter into a contract with Isaiah House, 238 North Munn Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey 07017, to provide Shelter Services: (Child and Family Well-Being Relocation Program), for a two year term to the City of Newark; and
WHEREAS, on or about June 26, 2012, the City of Newark’s Purchasing Division received written notice from the Department of Child and Well-Being requesting an additional vendor for shelter services to meet the needs of the City’s Department of Child and Family Well-Being relocation program as stated in the specifications; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director requests that the Newark Municipal Council amend Resolution 7R1-m-011912, to include the additional vendor, Carlton Hotel Associates, Inc., 24 East Park Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, whose bid was received on the same date and time as the Isaiah House bid was received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
