WHEREAS, by Resolution 7R2-a, adopted on June 20, 2018, the Municipal Council authorized and directed the Mayor, and/or his designee, the Director of Economic and Housing Development, to accept a grant award of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($300,000.00) from the Essex County Open Space Trust Fund and to enter into and execute a grant agreement with Essex County (the "Original Grant Agreement") for the purpose of renovating the Wars of America Monument at Military Park, with no City funds required; and
WHEREAS, after the passage of Resolution 7R2-a June 20, 2018, but prior to the execution of the Original Grant Agreement, Essex County and the City of Newark made additional needed revisions to the Original Grant Agreement (the "Revised Grant Agreement"); and
