WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of $10,000.00 for the Emergency Management Agency Assistance (EMAA) Grant and no adequate provision has been made in the 2019 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the purpose above-mentioned; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 7R9-a(s) dated June 18, 2019, the City of Newark accepted from the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Office of the Attorney General, program funds for the Emergency Management Agency Assistance (EMAA) Grant in the amount of $10,000.00 federal share and $10,051.54 non-federal cumulative commitment by the City of Newark for the period commencing July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; a...
