WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars and Zero Cents ($263,824.00) for the Homeless Health Care Project - FY 2020 Expanding Capacity Grant (ECT) and no adequate provision has been made in the 2020 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose, and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the same; and
WHEREAS, by the award letter dated May 4, 2020, the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded the City of Newark the FY 2020 Expanding Capacity Supplemental Funding Grant (ECT) in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars and Zero Cents ($26...
