WHEREAS, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA), One Newark Center, 17th Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102, provides grant funds for various transportation related projects from the FY2021 Subregional Transportation Planning (STP) Program to support transportation planning work that identifies and addresses regional-level transportation needs for local communities located within their planning area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark (the "City") has a need for said funding for the FY2021 STP Program; and
WHEREAS, on May 20, 2020, on behalf of the City, the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, submitted a work program application to the NJTPA requesting grant funding in the amount of One Hundred Ten Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($110,367.00) for the FY20...
