WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-a on December 15, 2021 establishing the Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates for 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-a(S) on January 4, 2022 amending the January and February 2022 Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates to Virtual Meetings and changing the time of the second Regular Meeting of each month to 12:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council desires to amend the 2022 Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates; to cancel the May 11, 2022 Special Meeting/Special Conference and reschedule the date of the July 6, 2022 Pre-Meeting to July 12, 2022 and the July 7, 2022 Regular Meeting to July 13, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to forward to the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal, together with posting in the public place of City Hall, a list of the pre-meetings, regular meetings and special/conference meetings of the Newark Municipal Council for the Calendar Year 2022, together with dates, times and place of said meetings and conferences.
Section 2. The Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates are hereby amended, canceling the May 11, 2022 Special Meeting/Special Conference and rescheduling the Pre-Meeting of July 6, 2022 to July 12, 2022 and the Regular Meeting of July 7, 2022 to July 13, 2022.

Section 4. All other 2022 Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates will remain the same.
Section 5. If changes are made within the proposed schedule, the City Clerk is hereby authorized to post and circulate said changes in the same manner as disseminated in Section 1.

This Resolution amends, cancels and changes the date of the 2022 Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates; to cancel the May 11, 2022 Special Meeting/Special Conference and reschedule the date of the July 6, 2022 Pre-Meeting to July 12, 2022 and the July 7, 2022 Regular Meeting to July 13, 2022. All other 2022 Pre-Meetings, Regular Meetings, Special Meetings, and Conference Dates will remain the same.
