WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Salume Urena School 2nd Annual Back to School Backpack Distribution and Community Fair at Newark School Stadium, 516-566 Roseville Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07107, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Newark School Stadium, 516-566 Roseville Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07107, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., for the Salume Urena School 2nd Annual Back to School Backpack Distribution and Community Fair.
